Bio

Hsiang-Chieh Chen received his B.S. degree in engineering science from National Cheng Kung University in 2002 and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Central University in 2005 and 2009. From 2010 to 2014, he was a researcher with the Industrial Technology Research Institute, where he worked on intelligent video analytics and energy saving systems. He was a senior engineer with Altek Corporation from 2014-2015. He served as a project manager with Coretronic Corporation during 2015-2016. In 2016, he became an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National United University, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests include computer vision, intelligent robotics, and AI-based automated optical inspection.
